Principal's Message

Welcome to Challenger Elementary School Home of the Rockets!! We are located just north of the Mexico border in beautiful southern Arizona. Our school was named in honor of the Challenger space shuttle that carried Christa McAuliffe, who would have been the first teacher in space. The country was devastated and heartbroken when the space shuttle blew up within seconds after liftoff.  The space shuttle was the first reusable manned spacecraft.
Here at Challenger, we encourage our students to do everything with PRIDE!
P - Positive attitude
R - Responsible
I-  Important individual
D- Dignity
E- Excellence

Dear Challenger Families,

We want our students to succeed academically and become responsible citizens in the rapidly changing world.
